Session Description

This course is recommended for engineers, technicians, and individuals responsible for proper selection, sizing, and application of control valves in all types of process facilities. This course will cover terminology of control valve types, applications and uses, and flow characteristics. Participants will gain insight into sizing and selection methods utilized in constructing appropriate valve assemblies as they relate to Control, Isolation, Relief, and Safety Instrumented Systems, and how those interact. This course serves as a companion to [Ed Services course on Control Valve Engineering I EDU-1300].
