Husky White Rose, a wellhead platform offshore Newfoundland, was designed with a restrictive piping layout, limiting space and straight run availability for flowmeters in challenging high static and differential pressure applications. In order to avoid significant piping re-design, the EPC, Wood, collaborated with Emerson to respect the layout and reduce engineering rework and costs. By incorporating innovative flow technologies within the existing piping structure, they were able to minimize straight run requirements and maximize measurement accuracy.
